Just about two years ago I ventured out on an unexpected journey. I decided to give up a fantastic job that was quickly blooming into a lifelong career, a charming little apartment in Chicago, and an entire life that I’d been meticulously planning since the age of nine. I decided to move to South Korea and started a new life as an English teacher.
So much has happened in the years that I’ve been away. I’ve met incredible people, traveled through Korea and Asia, and learned a lot. In the flash of an eye a one year adventure became a two year reality. During my time in Korea I started this page, partly for selfish purposes of wanting to save and relive memories from these two years, but also for those whom I haven’t been able to share the experiences with. I hope anyone who passes by this page enjoys the peek into what has been a little snippet of my life in Korea and what continues to be my journeys while traveling abroad.
